The National Caucus of the All Progressive Congress, APC, at a recent meeting has made an agreement over Nigeria’s 2019 presidency. The party leadership unanimously agreed that President Muhammadu Buhari should be given the opportunity to seek a second term- if he so wishes. Apart from this agreement, caucus members also agreed that it would be too
early in the day to kick start a second term campaign for the President.
Reports however said that the issue was brought up as a way of resting restiveness among some party leaders, who have been divided over their various aspirations for 2019.
